I also provide a detailed billing invoice for each consultation/class which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your specific insurance company and plan. Many insurance companies will reimburse part or all of the cost of a lactation consultant/class. Want to be prepared? Be sure to contact for a personalized Breastfeeding Class! Attend before baby’s expected arrival to get proper guidance on what to expect and how to build proper breastfeeding support. Evidence based information regarding breast anatomy and how human milk is made, basic breastfeeding skills including infant feeding patterns and positioning/latch techniques and establishing breastfeeding goals. Special topics include suspected dietary intolerance, tongue and lip ties, returning to work and weaning. Price includes the mother-to-be as well as a support person.

Initial Consultation (2 office locations available) – Complete health history taken including visual assessment of anatomy & functional assessment of baby's mouth, observation of typical feeding to identify strengths, prevent common issues, and address concerns. Baby will be weighed, milk transfer assessed, assistance with latch and positioning provided if needed. Lactation consultant will answer questions and make a plan with family to support breastfeeding goals. Family’s healthcare provider will receive consult report as needed to provide continuity of care.
