Welcome to Beautiful Bond Breastfeeding Services...My name is Julie Fields and I have been a registered International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since October of 2012, beginning my private practice shortly after. I began working with families beginning in 2010 doing inpatient and outpatient consultations and assisting group classes during my intensive clinical internship while in Charlotte, NC. I am a proud mother of 5 (4 girls and 1 boy). I am committed to protecting and supporting the breastfeeding relationship through professional and compassionate care. My ultimate goal is to EDUCATE and EMPOWER a family to be able to fulfill your breastfeeding goals. I look forward to joining your family during this precious time!

I have always been passionate about breastfeeding support and have found my path after encountering my own breastfeeding difficulties. I specialize in latch issues, nipple and breast pain, low milk supply or over supply, multiples, pumping and bottle feeding, partial breastfeeding and return to work. I also have had training in oral habilitation and supporting babies with oral restrictions to regain optimal function. Proudly serving both Pratt & Goddard (and surrounding areas)

Hi there, I’m Bethany Martin. I became interested in breastfeeding when I was pregnant with my oldest child in 2016. I didn’t know lactation consultants were a thing until I had my third baby and we were struggling. I’m a Registered Nurse by trade, working med-surg. I have had a passion for helping people since I was a young girl. Not only am I an experienced breastfeeding mother myself but I have another unique perspective being a twin! If I’m not studying or helping moms with their babies, you can find me with my husband and four kids, in a beehive, on a horse, or in the garden.

I started with Julie & Beautiful Bond in October 2022 and certified as an IBCLC in 2024. I look forward to my career as a lactation consultant serving both Pratt & Goddard locations. I currently strive to keep things working smoothly by assisting all office consultations and providing breastfeeding education, both virtual & in person. I started scheduling & managing to keep these ladies organized in September 2023 working behind the scenes but often being the first contact to moms in need. Being a mother for 20+ years myself, I know how challenging and rewarding that path can be. I am the proud mother of 8 children, even split of girls & boys. I suppose that is what gives me a great edge in organization! Keeping my active crew and husband in order has been my jam for some time. If I'm not emailing you or coordinating these ladies' schedules, you can find me watching any number of my kids' sporting events or being the official taxi for the household.

Our Philosophy

Beautiful Bond was established in December 2012 after Julie achieved her IBCLC certification. Things started with a dream & prayers beginning with home visits traveling near & far any & all days of the week, free phone support at all hours, lots of mom to mom support groups. After being a part of an amazing grant project from 2015-2018 she expanded services with an office in Wichita (March 2019) after much encouragement from loving providers in the area. Offices have changed but the love/sweat/prayers haven't. 2023 has brought more staff & larger office spaces with continued growth being a goal. We hope to be able to help as many families in need as we can while continuing to love our families deeply.

We believe that your breastfeeding journey is unique and will look different for every family. This experience will last a lifetime. That's why we're dedicated to helping you achieve YOUR breastfeeding goals in a way that works best for your family.

As we begin care we like to let clients know that we do our best to practice more holistically & strive to treat the whole mom & whole baby. We do a little sleuthing to ensure things for the family are optimal. As we begin care plans and incorporate practices, these are always meant to meet the unique needs of your family & should not be shared to be practiced by other families as they have their own unique needs and should be advised by a health professional.

From one-on-one consultations to group classes we hope to support every breastfeeding mother wherever she is in her breastfeeding journey. Our lactation consultants are here to provide you with the guidance and support you need to succeed.
